I stand against content slop
I started Proof of Content because I’m sick of generic, bland content that does absolutely nothing. That says nothing. That means nothing.
Content connects people, it educates and convinces people.
But only if it’s genuine and authentic.
AI can’t make content that resonates with people. It takes what’s already there and rejuggles it into more of the same. There’s no expertise, no experience, no authority. And there’s no trust.
When you work with me, I’m not going to give you something that’s been written elsewhere in a different way. Whether it’s a different angle, a new perspective, or a unique thought, there are ways to assert your authority and add value to a topic.
That’s what I bring.
What it’s like working with me
My goal is to fit seamlessly within your current processes and workflows. I take on the tasks you don’t have the time or resource to handle and deliver with minimal fuss and stress.
I won’t be a silent partner. I’m going to ask questions – not to find faults, but so I’m on the same page. The more I know, the better I can support you in delivering the results that content can.

I’m a freelance case study writer and content specialist based in Manchester, UK, with more than 13 years’ experience under my belt.
Having worked in bustling digital marketing agencies, managing B2B and B2C clients across a wide variety of industries, adapting to brand guidelines and distinct voices is second nature to me. Add to the mix my experience living and working in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, in-house roles with local, national, and international brands, well…let’s just say I understand the content needs of almost any size of business.
That’s the dull bit. The “why I’m worth working with” bit.
What you need to know, though, is I’m a writer through and through. 13 years in content as my day job, freelancing on the side to build up even more experience and skill, but over 25 years writing in total.
Stories. Fiction. Books. I write because I love it. I live for it. It’s rare a single day goes by I don’t write. In fact, I’ve written and published four fiction books already.
I test boundaries and I break rules. I find the best ways to connect with my readers because that’s what really matters. That’s how to get a message across. To connect with people.
